Coolant bridge bolts are hollow banjo bolts.  ;)

I remember reading somewhere on here that the bolts don’t seize in so hopefully you’ll be able to remove the broken part.  Interested in how you get on. I have leak from coolant bridge and oil cover plate so likely to be doing the same job soon

In the middle of the v there is the thermostat. - front of car.  Oil cooler cover plate (pretty much length of the engine. And coolant bridge at back with both coolant temp sensors in.  It could be any where along there.  I think it unlikely for the oil cooler cover plate or coolant bridge to let go quickly. More likely that they leak slowly.

i have been driving since 1964 & this morning i got my first ever speeding ticket . clocked doing 36mph in a 30 zone. been lucky though as i admit i dont hang around. the guy that copped me sprung out  from nowhere with a handheld gadget. the irony of it , is i was the fourth vehicle behind a tractor.

if you were no faster than the tractor that's odd because most tractors will have a 50k box or less so they are not capable of 36mph

Just need Piers Morgan and Naga Munchetty to get the chop now.

Although the latter would no doubt be seen as racist!

which one should get the poke first?

And it is down to your broker to confirm your needs as to your insurance policy.  If you wanted accidental damage cover why did they not seek a policy with it in and why did they not clarify that with you when Broking the policy???

You also refer to a 'pot'. I assume that means it's a real pot of money/investments - called a Defined Contribution Pension. Private Pensions, SIPPs and Stakeholder are the 3 main types of DC Pension. If it's not a DC pension ,

The three main types of defined contribution plan used in the workplace are : trust based, group personal pension and master trust.  Group SIPP is not that popular and stakeholder is an obsolete product

I know this is going to make it more complicated but there are a couple of misunderstandings above.

The £4K allowance applies in a different set of circumstances than just not touching the 75%

https://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/en/articles/money-purchase-annual-allowance/amp

Second and this is a common misunderstanding, it is an allowance not a limit.  You can even in those circumstances described above, contribute more than £4K but the tax relief is limited to £4K of contributions and remember for the purpose of the allowance employer contributions are included

Brand loyalty and her tactic of conning people into a siege mentality, with her as their protector. She is a vile specimen of humanity with no scruples whatsoever.

And how could anyone trust someone’s judgement when they also thought splitting her whiskers was a good idea....

The shame is that good government benefits from a competent opposition but we don’t even have that!

I'll be working till I'm 70, as I don't have a civil service pension, and I invested badly as a youff in Greene King shares on a daily basis. :D
Me too. And the whole Brexit nonsense has left me financially concerned for old age, as I've certainly lost an obscene amount of money from my investments over the whole ridiculous notion of it.

Interesting as I think most capital markets have delivered quite good returns since the referendum.  Struggling to think of which market is down on 3 years ago?

On the left hand cam use marking 3 the red one you have marked. On right hand cam use mark 4 the red one not the green.  It would be good for someone else to confirm too as I am going from memory- last time I changed a belt was two years ago!!!

Are you sure you have aligned the right cam markings for each cam? As far as I remember each sprite to has two and it is vital to align the correct one given your cams slipped when the locks were removed?  I’d need to look up which mark on which cam to be sure what’s right but someone else here may know
