Giving higher costs at the garage, we have one, so can compare costs with previous 4 pot's............... :'( :'(

I am looking, as future plans may mean selling the Honda, and we could do with an Estate........ :y :y

I was sceptical of the 2.2 but having witnessed its capabilities it has more than enough power for everyday driving , easier to work on too  ;)

Have you been drinking Mr EMD :P

Actually the 2.2 is adequate.  If using for towing, I think I'd stick to manual, which IIRC nay be an issue for you?

Before I bought my first 'proper' Omega (a 3.2 plod V6 estate) I had a test drive in a 2.0 Auto estate.

Oh dear. :-\ :-\ ;D

2.0 much less power delivery than the 2.2 mr opti and being the estate version would be struggling to pull skin off a rice pudding  ::)

In reality, not a huge amount between them.

2.0 16v manual went ok, but quite thrashy... 2.2 is more refined, but nothing like as smooth as the v6 :y

2.6 auto is fine for wafting around with decent overtaking capability,  2.6 manual is probably a better drivers car than the auto, but the 3.2 is the Daddy regardless of gearbox 8)
