Perhaps it was an irate neighbour, as it looks as though it was parked on the access path.  ;D

In Autocar this week they ran an article that stated 93% of all cars stolen in 2022 were nicked without the need for the key.

I suppose the good news is they don't need to break into your house to get it. :-X :-\

I use a Faraday cage for the Mexican but apparently scumbags can now directly access the Canbus and control all sorts of things.

Swmbo was speaking to someone yesterday who had their almost new Merc stolen recently. As an aside they live near a pikey site.
They broke into the house to get the keys, which were in the womans handbag right beside her bed.
She said that they are both very light sleepers and couldnt believe they didnt wake up when they were in the bedroom.
Plod came and told them two things. First - no point us looking for the car, it will be long gone by now.
Second. The likely reason you didnt wake up is that they often wear gas masks and spray gas in the room which makes sure you stay in a deep sleep for quite a while.
What a wonderful world we now live in.  ::)

The criminal fraternity are not bothered about our law enforcement at all , our system is so far behind that they cannot be bothered adding more crimes to the list & the bastards know it. Get yourself murdered & it might grab attention for a short while, the system is well & truly fu**ed.

I saw a YouTube vid last night which said that 90 Range Rovers a week are getting nicked in London!  :o

Insurers are now refusing to insure them unless they are garaged and the value of second hand Range Rovers has slumped.

(S'OK, you're safe, it was a full fat one I have an itch for)

I didn't mind what it was as long as it was a TDV8, now I actually prefer the lines of the Sport, my mate has the full fat which looks slightly cumbersome alongside mine.
