Put the clocks forward in both of them.

I always thought it was quite cool that the Omega did that for you.  8)

I haven't had a car since that does that.  :-\
Surprisingly, my Vectra does.
My astra had corrected itself within 30 seconds of starting up.
But my humble and derided by some 1.8 Vectra is now 14 years old.  :D Exits left, tugging forelock.  :P

Went to adjust the clock in the Alabama Mumsybus only to find that had set itself.  :D

I didn't adjust the clock on my Omega
I'm a builder , I'll just be an hour later than the usual 'late' for 6 months  :D

Tried ordering various parts from Eurocarshyte ,the payment won't complete the order with paypal or 2 debit cards  >:(
I assume if i go in store tomorrow the discount code won't work and they will expect me to pay sucker prices  :-\

Poly bushes in the front anti roll bar. New GM steering idler. Cleaned up some surface rust on front chassis leg and gave it a coat of Hydrate 80. Removed n/s/f disc to try and clean up the inside surface corrosion.
Had to stop there as I have to go to work.
Not a bad few hours work though by my standards - i.e. half crippled 62 year old.  ::) ;D

Me too seems strange that they don't adjust automatically, the Merc I had was a pain in the arse to alter the clock so I just left it.

My ML will alter the clock by itself - I've not driven it yet so not looked - but I had to find a menu & tick a box to tell it to alter the time between GMT & BST. IIRC on the Omega & other Vauxhalls you had to tell then NOT to alter the time.

Normally, if you have a radio that has RDS on it, it gets the signal from the RDS input which has the time so automatically does it. Tha is what I was told by a VX tech

Mk1 Mondeos, and other Fords, of nearly thirty years ago did it. Modern ones don't.

Finally resolved , sort of
I spoke to them and if you pay in store then you have to pay sucker prices with no discount  >:(
they said keep trying to order online  ,it's because the website is busy  ::)
I tried again a few times ,with 3 different debit cards and another paypal payment , no joy  >:(

I then modified the order, removed delivery ,changed to "click and collect" and the order went through with confirmation email strait away   :)

why did I bother ordering from them  :-\
because ....

2 x KYB Shock Absorber (Rear) 635720142 Vauxhall Omega 2.6 saloon 2003  £34.98  :o
2 oil filters ,
2 Bosch Cabin Filter ,
1 set amtech 5pc Screw Extractor Set

total £49.03
minus the discount
total was £31.41 INC vat    :)

That's great, Dave. I'll get you to collect some bits for me and, when I come to yours to pick them up, you might as well fit them while I'm there  :)
