Finished the inner wing and now started on the OS chassis rail repairs. I feel like it's finally coming together with the MIG and I'm glad I started with the hidden bits!

Yet again without Addy's teaching I wouldn't have achieved anything other than a mild bout of pubic hair immolation.

Oh... No... I did achieve that too, last week.

Went to look at a BMW 2 series active tourer.

Then came home, without it.

This is where I use to get all my stainless fasteners from, for using on the Trucks, they supply offshore industry so everything is quality, not chinqy carp.

A wise decision I think.  :)

They're a bit 'meh' but the top end ones are hybridesque with an electric driven rear axle to bolster the wwd chassis iirc. An alternative choice to the Golf+/Touran/Merc B Class/Meriva/B Max.

Or don't drive RC cars along the wet bits on a beach.

Can't grumble, as A2 probably isn't up to that sort of water.  That said, the ones I got from a local-ish fastener place faired much better  :-\.  My biggest gripe is where one of the egay ones rusted badly, it has sheared on removal (from a plastic gearbox case), so now having to replace said case.  That is in less than a week from its first encounter with the sea.

The whole experiment has highlighted the non stainless screws I missed last time I rebuilt the thing ;D

Thanks :), though it looks like they don't really do many if the sizes in the types I require.

Retrofitted rear seat entertainment to the Alabama Mumsybus with a slight twist. Have added Chromecast to it so that it is now connected to this decade via an Hdmi to Rca converter.

But all genuine bits, so it looks as it would had it been delivered from the factory and works as intended. The WiFi wiring is all pretty well hidden, but I need to explore alternatives to the current 12v socket for it to be 100% currently have to unplug it in order to close the ashtray lid.

12v to USB plugs are a couple of quid on eBay if thats any use... Or 12-5v transformers as well. My 190E is probably the only one with fitted phone chargers!
