Took the newly rebuilt and now insured french contraption for a drive this morning and all was well.
Drove it to work this evening and engine bay as dry as a bone when I got here, so it looks like its back to full working order - for the moment.  ::)
Shall fill it with diesel tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed.  :)
Just fill it a  third full, just in case. It might not last a full tank.  ;)

Drove my granddaughters Clit home for her when she was at uni due to her having an illness. Must agree that it was a fun car to drive. Very nippy, build quality shite.  ;D

Exciting stuff, I topped up the adblue with 10L after the 1500 mile warning popped up, so it should be just over half full now. Found it goes in quicker if you stick a knife through the air space in the container once it's tipped up.  ;D

Changed 3 glow plugs on the Battlebus, then treated it to an oil change.

After that, gave it a damn sound thrashing to test it.  Most enjoyable.

Notice there is a lot of people broken down over the past few days, wonder why that is?
Can't be the same glow plugs as my astra, then, or you'd have been £360 lighter.
the genuine Bosch ones are less than £10 each for the Zafira A  :)
I aint spending that much on it.  I think it was £10 for 3 for ACME shite glow plugs.

Mate of mine had one, also in that same blue.  A proper laugh on the rare occasions it was actually working (engine electrics)

Crap, even though much newer, still  no match for my slightly modded Astra mk2 16v.

Fill up using the adblue pump on the HGV pumps, it's about £1.00ppl cheaper

tripped over the new discs and pads for Deb's MOT work. I'll fit them tomorrow.
Collected my welder -which we've been using on a friend's kitcar project - so I can fit the new exhaust flexi when it arrives.

Fitted the new ABS sensor to the V70, but the light came back on.  >:(  See ABS Light thread for details.

Swapped the Mondeo's tyres front to back, back to front as they were originally, after I swapped them last week to see if my droning noise was from the tyres.
