I am trying to find a leak, coming from power steering pump area.
I don't know if it is pump itself or a hose connection.
Any ideas?

Jubilee is the oe fitment, but they are the work of saiten. It's possible to over tighten and crack the plastic. Plus, as Master once said so long ago, the rubber pipe goes hard after a while and relaxes, and because the jubilee needs to tighten itself to compensate, it leaks. Where as a spring clip, like those used on the hbv, will hold tension .

So a spring clip is better, if you have one spare, and there is access to get it in position.?

What is MOT? Safety inspection? Is that once a year?

Yup every year we have to pay the government even more money to have the MOT (Ministry of transport) road worthy test

Yes and it shows in the death traps you see on the road sometimes

I had a PS pump that leaked onto the shaft and pulley.  It was a very slow leak, but would get picked up as an advisory on annual inspections if I didn't give the pulley a wipe down first.  Never seemed to get bad enough to bother actually fixing.

I convinced myself that it wasn't getting to where it was from leaking hose connections.
