I am delighted to say that Wheels-in-Motion have, after much searching, found their own site that they are currently in the process of leasing and kitting out with the state of art equipment.
To celebrate this, Tony from Wheels-In-Motion is offering an 'open day' for OOF members, probably in March, depending on progress with the new site.
The format is still to be confirmed, but will be a 'knowledge day', involving getting a few cars set up for free (!) and learning and discussing geometry. We will arrange for food etc.
Obviously until a date is known, unable to make solid plans, but just wanted to get early visibility of this day.
More details to follow very soon!

Thank you for your interest in this team....
To explain:- This is a million pound venture by wim is to expose a totally new approach in an elevated form of fast-fit.
The parts that matter to me and you is the correct knowledge and the best available equipment... I have chosen the Hunter DSP600 Geometry machine running the latest WinAlign software with live world data acquisition.
The tyre fitting machine is "touchless" meaning it loads the wheel/tyre, it removes/fits the new tyre but it never touches the face of the wheel.... Not a tyre lever in sight.
Other equipment to be finalized.....
Mid to late Feb i should be open and i would like to offer an open day so members can see what we are all about... Additionally it's a chance to meet other members... But it's a national open day so other clubs will be on scene.
A separate meet for a knowledge day involves this club only... We will randomly pull members registrations and set the Geometry calibration for free using each car to explain our field.
So on this day not only do we have a meet and greet but also a chance to have the chassis set for free and learn a little along the way..
Oh and food-refreshments will be on me.
The centres evolution is being blogged here> http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=2562&hl=

Tony, I'll definitely be along to 'wish you well' in your new venture (and to help you get thru the tea and biscuits!)
I suspect that quite a few of the OOF guys will turn up too!
Let us know where and when asap, wouldn't want to double book!
regards

I think (need to confirm with Wheels-InMotion) there are 2 days - an open day for all clubs to celebrate the opening of the centre, and a 2nd 'knowledge' day where Tony will share his knowledge specifically on the Omega's geometry.

Work permitting, count me in. Worthy of celebration, and I'm never one to pass up the chance to learn a bit about the techy bits of my car... :y
