Oh I don't know.... My estimation of William has gone up somewhat in the last few days.  :)
Nah, as the older sibling, he should have properly sorted out Harold with a good ol' bit of fisty cuffs every weekend.  Its what brothers do.

You forgot the bit about charging up capacitors with a 500V megger and leaving them in their toy box... or was that just me? >:D

Ooo you bastid!  :o  ;D

We never did that after discovering if you connect up the caps to a decent PSU, but reverse polarity, you had more instant fun with the resulting bang.  My eldest bro, who used to work at a place where he could furnish us with old PCBs, couldn't get hold of large caps fast enough ;D

Ahh, exploding caps was our favourite lunch time activity in the school science lab.

Yep, used to knock the MCB off for the bench sockets, then wire them in reverse to the bench power supplies.

Await the right moment before sneaking into the prep room and flicking the MCB on again

Tantalums are better - and far harder to put out the fire than when a normal electrolytic pops it's cork. And they leave a brown sludgy mess everywhere. ;D

The only caps at our school were the stupid head dress the fresh meat had to wear.  We had to resort to shit from the Chemistry labs to blow them up.
