Having problems with a certain tennant and his inconsiderate parking,most flats in my place have a garage and written in the terms of the lease no parking is allowed in front of them due to getting access etc,this particular person has benn warned by his landlord and management company not to leave his car parked outside his garage,last night i politely asked him not to leave it out,so he starts,calling me racist pig etc,and then assaulted me(hits like a girl lol) luckily some of the other tennants came out and took him away,im not racist at all,but all i wanted was to be able to get my car in and out of the car park,well its been reported to police and i shall be taking it further with them,luckily ive kept all emails concering parking with my landlady and the management company stating he shouldnt park in front of his garage,oh well lets see what happens $:-\$

Unfortunately for people like that the parking will be considered a civil matter nd the police won't intervene.

For the 'assault' there normally has to be a mark left, even if it is just reddening of the skin before they will even consider any action. If he continues calling you racist you can file a complaint for defamation but unmless there are several witnesses or he writes it then there is not much evidence.

All that said it is still a good idea to inform the police incase it escalates or he tries to stitch you up.

You have to report it so it goes on file.

If you have a good local bobby then he would probably go and have a chat with said neighbour.

Why is it that people like him who know they are in the wrong turn it around to you being the one in the wrong just for asking and calls you a racist..it is armholes like him that would start a war..what has happened to society these days.....

They use the racist card so they think they can do what they want and then make it look like its your fault,got management company involved,as my landlady has sent them an email to get this sorted out,i think it is in own tenancy agreement racisum isnt to be tolerated.

It sure could if i had a towing dolly as i need to exit via a sharp right turn into a narrow street to get it out of the property,or i can just drag across the front of his garage and the next garage
