hi all
got a problem with my ar25 on my 2.6 2002 omega tried all the obvious things.
i can get hold ar35 as a replacement instead of a ar25 which as only done 66k miles could anyone tell me
if its just a straight swap or will it it need to go on a tech 2

the fault is showing up as incorrect gear ratio thats the only fault stored

oil and filter was changed 6 months ago and oil level is ok checked that yesterday

hi all
i think i may have a problem with the autobox,
when the car is upto normal temp and you drive car the normal there is no issues with the box its
up and down as smooth as anything
but when you do a hill start it seems to hold 1st gear till you are on level ground then it changes as normal but if you take it above 4000 revs
it goes into back up mode

it does it when its upto normal temp ,its been on a tech2 at a autobox specialist and no faults found , the bloke seems to think it might be a fault with 1 off the solenoids under load but he cant see how though

morning all
i seem to have a problem with the gearbox ,sometimes when i pull off going uphill it wont change from 1st unless i take my foot off the accelerator then wait a few seconds then it will change or knock it into neutral then back in drive then all is fine all through the gears
i dont get this problem on level ground, i thought it must be low oil, had oil check at agents and all is ok even had oil and filter change
but the problem is still there

going to change the drivers seat as mine got a rip in it ,is there anything to be careful off and does the airbag have to be reprogrammed or something

got new battery and alternator from vx, with doing a lot of caravaning i thought it would be best with new
