Sold it to an operator in Bristol, who put it back to work on a tourist service in that city.
It was a firm favourite amongst the staff there, and the proprietor said (quote):

i bought this bus off Byron, ... i tested the bus back to full class 6 psv, it was used regularly with my then company at Bristol.
The new [present] owner has basicaly kept my livery (green & cream) but added a lime green around the windows
This was a cracking little bus and a real credit to byron.

Considered doing a routemaster? Guess not your bag as you did not get many up your way?

Thanks Mark ... all I wanted was that TD ... would've been perfect for my retirement years ...  :D
(Would've let Mrs Seth have the odd a little drive too!) :o

... reckons that Gramps should get that Merc 814 lorry though!  8)
