;D does the drivers door pin not bounce back up or can you hold the handle up when closing?

doesn't on mine, but you could do it by opening a back door and then pressing down the drivers door pin and then just shut the back door.

Yeah i think i will go do that, save me worrying about it all night....

I can disconnect the sounder tomorrow and it can make as much noise as it likes in the carpark at work tomorrow....

Do we think it will sound for 5-10 mins or so???

I will, just wrap it towel or soething and put it in a cupboard for a while.  Your alarm will still work fine.

Well that theory doesnt work on mine!! ;D

No matter what way i do it,as soon as i push down the drivers door the central locking activates!!

Yeah i realise what i just said,it will but it wont set the alarm because i havent turn the key or used the buttons!

Its effectively the same as being inside it,if you lock it when driving!

Sorry its been a long day..... :-[

Im not going to remove the sounder tomorrow morning,i'll just un plug it and let it blast away til it stops,i will remove it later when i got more time...

well, going by the car manual it say to activate the alarm use the remote or the key, so putting the door pin down it shouldn't activate it...

yeah i read the book there too.....

It must not activate it because im sure i have got in and locked the doors straight away and then started the car and drove away, surely if it did activate it then i wouldn't have been able to start it as the system would set and the immobiliser would kick in....??

It seems to be ok actually with the interior motion sensors disabled?
I wonder if there is a fault with them,i will pull the interior light out tomorrow as well and have a look....

good luck, you might be able to just disconnect them for the time being if somethings annoying them, see this disables the vehicle tilt to though.

Thats the other thing that makes me think it could be them, when the alarm is set i can grab the car from the B post and rock it quite hard and the alarm doesnt react...?

I went out there and lock it from 'inside' the red LED hasn't come on so i take it the alarm is not set,but all doors are locked..
