radio stopped working

I went to turn the radio off,the display come up memory,didnt switch off for a while.then the part on the mid what normally has radio station,date was blank.when i've locked the car the radio and mid is still lite up. any help would be great :y

Quick up date, took radio out now I have got the mid switched off,so no flat battery in the morning!

what radio is fitted? The MID should still work, display time, car info, such as mpg, range, stop watch, outs temp and so on.

Sounds like the H/U crashed  :-/ - Only time i have seen memory is after the battery has been changed and it auto-searches for stations again (CDR-2005)

radio is a cdr2005, the mid still works.shows range etc on the top line,blank on the middle line(where the date or radio station should be,the bottom line has the time on :y

refitted radio works as it should, dont know what was a matter with it must be that time of month for it :y :y :y
