Are the above not very good??
I get a break down in reception on my Omega although all the conections and rear screen appear to be finen is there any sort of test that can be done on the amp or is it just a rubbish idea using the screen as an aerial?? :-/

Are the Carin navs any good, or is it better to get a Tom Tom or such like??

Can you add in another amp to the Bose system??
If so how and where?
Also the Boy mentioned about changing the ouputs via Tech2 from the CCR700, what would this achieve, or is this what i need??
Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Does anyone know how this plug and play Vauxhall loom connects up tp the car??
I have a mass of wiring and i can only see where about 2 connections go

Also is there a factory position to use to bring in the wiring loom??
Any advice/pictures would be a god send.

I have just purchased an Elite with a standard Bose radio that has a phone capability. What sim card will fit this unit as my sim card is way to small to fit. Is there an adapter plate that is needed?? or is it to old for todays sim cards

The radio system is a CCRT 700, it also says not to use the phone whilst driving, I thought the system was handsfree which means that you can :-/

I have a factory fitted alarm on my 2.0 CD 1995, but when the alarm goes off all i get is the sound of a relay clicking but no horn or flashing lights. Does anyone know where it has been disconnected?

? Is there a 'normal' disconnection point people use when these alarms start to play up???

Omega General Help / What can cause loss of multiple systems??

1999 2.5 v6 Auto
Power steering
Heated seats
Fan motor
Heated rear window
Air-con

These cant all be on the same fuse??
Any ideas what can cause the sudden loss of all these??

Omega General Help / Erratic handling

A strange one this.......
When i go round a right hand corner a little quick it feels like the car digs in and the back end trys to step out. Quite unnerving :-/ Also above 70mph the car starts to feel wondery?

All tyre pressures are 32psi
No clonks or bangs etc....
All springs look fine
Wishbones and drop links all fine
Shocks feel fine and rears are new.
Full Geo at WIM with no advisories on anything,
Slight play in the rack but not excessive.

This has come on suddenly
No problems when going arouund a left turn.
Like i say a hard one to describe and fault find.
Thought i would post up on the off chance someone may have had a similar problem.
Only thing i can think of is that the camber/toe has gone miles out on one side :-/

Omega General Help / LPG running problem

I have an Omega that will run on petrol fine. When you switch to LPG it missfire straight away.
Using the software via a laptop i eventually found that if i turned off number 6 injector whilst on gas the missfire would stop and all ran as normail.
It ran for a few minutes like this but then logged a fault at number 6 injector and now wont let it run on Gas

This kit was from Tylo.......anyone have a contact number for him please?

Question is whats at fault??? Im guessing that cos i can switch the injector on and off that the elecs are fine?
Do these red injectors fail often??
Can they be changed singularly?

Omega General Help / Headlamp/field vision

I was getting the above every 10 mins or so due to the actuater arm coming off.
I have sence repaired this but still get the caution after every start up but once cleared remains off till i start again.
The lamp height seems fine since putting the arm back on.
Any ideas why im still getting the warning??
