People who don’t pronounce their Ts. What’s wrong with folk these days, too lazy to open their fu(£ing mouths properly.

Being unable to pronounce the TH sound. I fink that is a London fing.

It's one of the primary differences in any variant of estuary English. It's normal around here(rahnd 'ere).


So is replacing th in the middle of a word with a glottal stop - if Chatham was spelt the way it's often pronounced it would be Tch'm

Thames Water have pissed us off again. No water across the whole town for the second time in as many months. 

That can't be right...

Didn't the CEO get a huge bonus for great work.....or even an OBE.

Thames Water have had a bad couple of weeks here. They’ve managed to single-handedly close three out of the four roads in to the town with burst water mains. The one remaining road open has a 7.5T weight limit on it so the truckers are less than impressed with the massive detour they have to do.

              I really like the London Cockney accent, I’ve worked a few places… Oxford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, but we rolled up in a pub in Croydon on one job and we Taffs got on great with the customers, shame we had work in the morning though 🤮🤢 it was a torturous days work but met a really good bunch of boys 👍

My home town Croydon , terrific place back in the seventies, unfortunately just a shadow of its former self now.

Certainly more funerals than weddings now Steve, this one is SWMBOs brother went on far too long with dementia, a very cruel way to end your days.

Indeed. My old Dad suffered from it in his last few years.
I really wish he had gone earlier than he did. He didnt deserve to lose all his dignity like that.  :'(

It is a truly awful condition , his wife took care of him for over 5 years but the last month of his life he was in a care home & now she is blaming herself for letting him go into it, it's very hard for her to realise that she did the right thing. I think it's going to be a very emotional day on Thursday.

I know that legalised euthanasia is an emotive subject but, if there was a real effort to get the legislation right, who could argue against it?
The religious factions, I suppose, but if you're going to heaven, no harm in arriving a bit early.
