Christmas is coming and I'm sure she will be delighted to find a new cordless vacuum under the tree!  :y

She should be thrilled.

I seem to remember some bloke being in the news recently for getting sucked off by Henry.

Perhaps a flesh and blood woman is required. 8)

After sucking off her master she could continue with her chores. :)

Not a fan of cordless, much lower power and 50% of the Vacuum price is the power supply, where as on a mains one its about 1% (and the cord is hardly an inconvenience).......plus the batteries are not mega long lived so you have to budget for replacements every few years, all key things you have to consider.

True. I'm not sure a 2 stroke hoover is the answer either, mind. ;D

Pretty sure it would be effective... Might need an exhaust hose to hang out of the window though :D

Does it cope with cat hair? ;D

Actually, might cope with the whole cat and solve that one once and for all!

In our experience, you certainly can't be shot of your corded one, as cordless is not a replacement.  But they are "good enough" for the usual regular quick tidy ups.  Well, ours is.

I had the same reservations, but she wanted one, so I got her one for Christmas, and I do have to concede that it is far better than I expected.

There's probably only one type of lady's appliance that should be cordless for ease of use and satisfaction.  :)
