My SC804's tuner has stopped working, anyone know if this will work with the Philips CD changer?

Very true.

A meet at WIM could work really well, as long as those of us from down south could get our alignment done!

I'm sure he'd end up with plenty of beer tokens!

Got a ridiculously large 85Ah one from Vauxhall today, £71.26 inc VAT on TC.

Sorted.

I took the switch apart, cleaned everything up and made sure it was seated correctly, and now it works perfectly.

Thanks!!

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Dashboard Illumination problem
« on: 13 October 2007, 18:48:49 »
Hello all,

Strange one this, changed my headlamp switch today, as the old one had a cracked pcb and wouldn't adjust the headlamp height.

After putting the new one in (second hand), everything seems to work fine apart from when I turn the lights on, the MID goes blank, and the dash illumination fails to work, I tried wriggling the brightness control, but still nothing.

So, could be a faulty new switch, I put the old one back in, and the same is happening.

Is there a fuse for the dash illumination hidden somewhere? I've checked all the fuses in the fuse box and all are ok.

A wiring diagram might help, does one exist?

Thanks in advance,

Pete.

« on: 14 April 2011, 13:41:24 »
Elite Pete did mine recently, I got both gaskets and filter from JPAT for £23 delivered, and Halfords were, and still are doing 5l of Comma Dexron III ATF for £15.

My replacement wiper from Vauxhall made no difference either.

Omega General Help / Re: Losing coolant from header tank

I have been having the same issue.

At first the temperature guage would shoot up to the top under hard acceleration or steep hills, but replacing the radiator has cured this.

I have ordered a new expansion tank and cap, and will let you know how I get on.

The only Dirty Diesels I play with are Land Rovers so Pete would be your best option mate.  :y

Would you consider it if he's not interested?
