Omega Newbie
« on: 26 February 2007, 11:37:40 »

Hi everyone just found this site, and very impressed. I am a newbie to the omega bought mine about
5 months ago, it is a 2.0ltr 16v GLS Auto 2000 facelift. only had 35k on clock, full dealer history and looks and drives like a new car, and i love it. :) Have had no problems apart from crankshaft sensor ( apparantly common fault on all vauxhalls!) Even though mine has the baby engine compared to some of you guys, i find it still shifts. Maybe i can find some ways of improving the performance of my motor through this site. ;D

Cheers

Hi Kushanku and welcome.  To make your car run smoother and potentially a little faster check out the maintenance guides and clean the breather system.  (And make a note that Cam Belt needs changes before 40k  :y)
