My Meega
« on: 05 January 2007, 22:05:06 »

Hi all. New to internet so bear with me please! Am happily surprised to find a site full of like minded lost causes who love & enjoy vauxhalls flagship. I drove my first mig (mreg 2ltr man) as a company taxi about 10yrs ago and despite the ugly steering wheel on early models the car was a dream to drive on a 20hr shift after the granadas we had before. I now drive a truck for a living but have a 99s 2.5cd manual that i adore.Purrs like a kitten but snarls like a tiger if you drop your right foot, 96.000k leather£950.Why pay £5000 for bmw/merc? Pics when i learn how to do them! Cheers, Amigov6.

Hi, amigov6 here hope this is where i leave another post. If not stuff it here goes anyway! Since first post had full cambelt kit fitted, srayed and fitted subtle rear spoiler, modified and fitted vectra cdx walnut gearknob and stuck discreet v6 badges beneath indicator repeaters. Still looking for walnut effect centre dash surround and ashtray from cdx as mines a cd, any help appreciated. Im a 43 yrs grumpy old man and look down on boy racers with disdain but i have a confession to make. I just spent £70 on my first ever induction kit(k&n) and as a result only have music on long runs cos when i floor it(especially 2nd/3rd) it feels like its going into orbit and sounds incredible, the powerband just goes up & up!!! Back to reality i change oil and filters and coolant every 2000 miles so due again soon. Hope this goes where it should, if you find it elsewhere please put me right. Cheers, amigov6.
