Not having been to the Lakes or Newent meets before, I was wondering what the arrangements are for food/cooking etc. Only 2 days to go, and starting to sort out what I need to get/pack.
Will obviously bring things to drink/cook/eat, but not really sure of what is required/expected. :-/
I'm bringing my tools/jacks etc and have a few jobs to tackle and am more than happy to help out with others. :y Can't cook for toffee though ;D

bring and drink loads of beer
usually a communal bbq, chuck your food on and eat it. If your not happy cooking....dont worry, plent of bbq kings to help out.
breakfast - more an individual affair, although some groups do tend to cook / eat together.
Lunch - doesnt really happen, so bring pasty / bag of crisps etc of you want a midday snack

I have delayed the start of a new medication because they say avoid alcohol..... :D :D :D
I did check with a nurse, avoid alcohol means I can still have a tipple or two at bed time as normal, phew... ;D ;D

At an OOF meet, even if you dont drink, you cant avoid alcohol...its everywhere!
