Thanks for the nice comments yes it is the same engine out of a supra twin turbo.
and the discs and calipers are from a range rover sport and they only just squeezed on inside a 19 inch wheel ;D
-
You should rename yourself the mad doctor. That's outstanding work well impressed

With that size wheel, what's the ride like? Have you lowered it at all?
Looking good! :y

I have questions! ha ha!
What box and LSD you running? Did you do the whole conversion on your own? Was it expensive to do?
-
:o :o :o
I bet that gets hot under the bonnet :o
What have you done to keep the temperature down ?
-
Hi there sorry for the late reply ive been moving house lol
its been lowered around 40mm but is a mv6 so i think it sits abit lower from standard it has lost abit of ride comfort but i hardly notice it because it is a very comfortable car and it did originally have the mv6 17inch wheels so the ride comfort hasn't changed that much.
IM running a manual box w58 from the mk4 supra and a lsd from a ex police car
v6 so it should be fun to drive :)
i reckon the engine conversion has cost me around 3.600 with all of the converted parts
i fitted it myself with help with wiring from my old man its been a long slow process with work and kids but hopefully be worth the wait lol :)
its running with a twin core radiator and a viscous fan so there's no heat issues it runs as sweet as a nut lol
-
Nice project mate I'm sure that would be pretty fast, I have an rb25 omega myself. How did you get the speedo working?

Wouldn't be a white saloon by any chance would it Shane? lol
-
Hi there im not sure what car it was exactly the lad just said it was a v6 omega facelift he crashed it into a field and wrote it off it only had about 60.000 on the clock if i remember him saying to me wounder really that's what happens :)
i havnt actually road tested it yet in still finishing a few wires off its kind of trial as you go ive only moved around the yard so not 100 percent ive got speedo readings at the moment i was asuming the speedo ran off the abs system and wasn't affected by the transplant but i may be wrong i will find out in a couple of months when i finally get to road test her
-
P6UL K yeah it's a white saloon mate
Chuftsmv6 no problem was just wondering as mine doesn't work lol serious project
-
It has been a fair bit of work specially juggling it around family life aswell but hopefully il get to finish it soon an see if all the hard work was worth it lol :)
you said you have a rb25 omega i bet that's fun :)
