October 15th sounds better to me , 

 But I would say that as I did not vote for Sept 24th as can't make it owing to SWMBO's university Prom night.

Also October would give Mrs Cakey more time for baking some specialities for the Oofers, one thinks

Oh yes also SWMBO & me it's our wedding anniversary weekend  -

 29 years on the 25th    ( thats 2 life sentances + an extra year)    

So no chance at all of me buggering about with motors that weekend

After todays Kent meet, (my 1st  ) Oct 15 would be great. As I will turn 50 on Sept 24 I know the missus has arranged something for me.
It will be great to meet more members, plus I will bring along some RP (Rum Punch)
