All groups of search engines have robots that go out searching the tinterweb - thye show up as guests...   ...and seeing as Google's robot averages 1000 pages per day from our site, it will show up as a guest a fair bit...

out of curiosity, are there many people who have signed up and never posted?

obviously brand new members dont count, but maybe the odd few people that signed up months ago and then didnt bother posting even once?
