Anyone know part nş for crank sensor for 1998 2.5 V6 Elite?  It is the "square" plug, rounded corners.

Mine was the Part Number I have posted, they (local VX) called "Oval" as it has radiused corners.
The other one apparently is known as "Square" as it has square corners..

Hope that helps mate :y

Think mines "square" altho obviosly slight rad on corners.  When does rad become large enough for plug to be called oval??

From memory think mine has squarer corners.  Wont have time to pull out scuttle until weekend to look.
Thanx for pic - at least i know what the "oval" plug looks like.

I have option on a new gm "square" one very, very cheap before weekend - if its wrong guess i can always flog it here!! :y :y

The "Oval" one was just less than £50, the "Square" one was around £70 if I remember rightly :y

Only wanted one as a spare (heard about tb's problem in france!) - guess i'll probably get this one and check both elites for suitability.  If no good for either i'll sell on - should sell ok as its genuine gm and brand new!

Will post up outcome.
