Celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary yesterday. They still live in their own bungalow and do all their own chores,
such as cleaning, cooking, washing etc. Both well into their nineties. God, my old mum deserves a medal. :D

My parents managed 63 years before my father passed away, and I thought that was good.

Surely your parents must have married very young. :y
Mum is 94 , Dad 97 :y


So 17 and 20 when they got hitched. :y

And probably got loads of aggro from their parents and relatives for being too young to get married, "it'll never last", etc etc  ;D
