Had an M-Tek one in my MV6.  Certainly made it go better at the expense of more consumption, but easily remedied with a lighter right foot....

Still got it, if your interested....  Chip, that is, not a light right foot....   :y

The throttle pedal is not a lightswitch, Mr TB......

Pretty sure M-Tek gets his Chips from Collins Performance in Congleton, where I got mine :y I would also recommend M-Tek's spark plug leads as I had a set off him :y

Rubbish....how can a memory chip destroy your ecu?

The worst that will happen is if you get a poor quality chip then the timing will be out and it wont run.

I cant say I have tried one of these maps (there probably just a rip off of somebody elses maps as the memory EPROMS cost little more than 3-4 quid each).

Assuming that the chips are the right spec and speed then they will run.
