Hi,
I know for some, colour changing the dash of the Omega is seen as.. Well.. Gay.... But the orange dash illumination has got to be one of the worst colours choices to choose.
I am slowly converting my dash illumination to white using, where I can, 3mm flat top white LED's (Gives a better coverage area).
So far, I've done the switches but the 3 problem area's I've found are the climate controls, the info display (GID) and the speedo.
I noticed while I was replacing the stereo and being curious, disassembled the climate control to find an orange filter over the display. Removing it, it glowed in the VFU green.

The switch LED's in the climate control will be next.
As I've had to replace the stereo, I will be replacing the GID with a colour LCD either hooked up to an Android on a stick, Raspberry PI or a mini PC.
The speedo, I'm thinking of using a Vectra one as they don't have the built in orange filter but the one I got off ebay doesn't have the front fog lamp reminder.
Carl,
P.S. What's the best site for embedding pictures? Tried Google and dropbox..
