ULEZ 2021 - The end for my Omega
« on: 24 February 2019, 08:51:42 »

Yes due to that idiot and his number crunching cronies, looks like I will have no option but to get rid of the omega, that I have cherished since 2003, I am not a happy bunny at all, my car will incur the daily charge, just because I live in the extended ULE zone, Thanks lot Mr Mayor!!!

Sorry to hear that, my office is right on the border.

Has to be at least Euro5 for diesel, so means a lot of old big engine derv is out.

If they tweak or extend the ULEZ, I’m stuffed as well!

That's an arse :(.

I suspect it will come to everywhere soon, in order to force us onto impractical milk floats.

My 2003 3.2 is also exempt from this scheme, so I will be able to continue in driving around Greater London without charge :D :D :y

Yea, both my 3.2 Manual Ex Police are showing as ok.

Is this your vehicle?

You are not subject to the ULEZ.
You do not need to take any action. However, other charges may apply.

Like the Congestion Charge ;)

But I make sure I do not take any vehicle that is not exempt to the centre of London, so for me this charge is irrelevant.   :D :D
