This insanity is why you need to hold on to your Omega.

If it's rare, it's worth money, despite how mundane it is. :y

I know come classic prices are going through the roof, but really..............

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MK1-FORD-CORTINA-1966-DE-LUXE-MAROON-2-DOOR-COMPLETE-CAR-RESTORATION-PROJECT-/181567370899?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276

Up until a couple of months ago I'd have agreed but , and I think I already may have told this story on here , I was in my local body repair shop and he had a very early 2 door Gt Cortina ( with rev counter on steering column ) that he bought for €6000 .The car was complete but in need of a full ground up restoration. I choked when I was told what he paid but after checking into it and what they are worth ,it was about right .
Seller has log book etc for a GT , this will end up as exactly that .
Better than money in the bank.................
