I think I have been lucky to get this car for £725, unless you kind folks know different. It was 1st registered 19/10/1999, has covered a shade under 33000, is one owner from new, who just lost his licence, simply because his eyesight is failing him, well, he is 86 years young, it is a basic 2.0 16v GLS, not lucky enough to get an Elite, or an MV6, so will just add to this one, looking for leather seats and door cards, found a set for £185, then goona see if it is poss to remove the radio (2 din) and put in a DVD/Sat Nav in it's place. Could do with some advice on these, just to know if it is poss or not.

Door cards and seats should not be a problem to change, dont know about the radio, might be better to put a post in the electrical and audio section for the forums sparkys

Less than 33k in ten years??? Brilliant, yes, change everything, it need not stay a GLS.  Sounds like a good buy to me.

Where are those pics?
Is the cambelt done yet? Oil change?
Next upgrade, leather, blind, clear flank indicators, Elite grille, spoiler. All these can be cheap.

I only have one pic, and I have no idea how to upload!!!! Also, what are clear flank indicators? Elite grill sounds good, I found a set of leathers and cards for £185, but when I drove 146 miles each way they were poor condition, so I am still looking there. I am going to post in audio room about swapping 2 din radio for a dvd setup

Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Side indicator repeaters on later facelift cars are clear and not orange.
