Title: Black plastic
Post by: pauls on 15 April 2018, 19:44:09
The black hard plastic on the back of the front seats are scratched and marked. Has anybody got any good ideas to make these look good again.

Smooth any imperfections, thoroughly degrease, then spray using Tamiya aerosols in the colour of your choice :y

PS colours are for polycarbonate and have a degree of flexibility, TS colours are for rigid surfaces... Omega dash trim for example...

Starter for ten...

Or you could buy materials actually meant for this job from your local paint supplier.

Well, there is that...

I recall asking a Ford parts department for some paint to tidy the interior trim of a blue MK2 Granada, only to be told that they were moulded in colour... He didn't have an answer when presented with the part in question showing patches of grey where the blue paint had worn away ;D

Hence the suggestion...  :y
