What's the correct ATF to top up a 2003 2.2 16V. Is it still Dexron II?
My car manual doesn't say? The consensus in this thread (https://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=136036.msg1744940#msg1744940) seems to be GM 'Special oil' = Dexron III?
Others say Dexron II only or leaks develop. And mine has leaked, Jubilee clip at reservoir end of suction hose was a bit loose. The hose (GM 90447748) looks to be in OK condition, so I'm hoping that tightening the clips will fix it. Or do I need a new one?

GM originally were going to use DIII in the PS, but then found out it was causing leaks, so reverted to DII.
Whether or not it was something specific with the brand/blend they were using or not doesn't seem clear.
I always top mine up with DII on the only time I've every had to do so.

This won't help but my tuppence,, I've only ever used shell donax, in the gearbox and Pas, I've not had a leak yet on any of my omega's that I've owned, I don't know the Dex of the oil, the only downside is, 210L drums or 25L.

Shell spec (https://cdn.opieoils.co.uk/pdfs/shell/Spirax-S4-ATF-HDX-TDS.pdf) sheet says "Fulfils GM former Dexron IIIG specification"
