Fit the condenser / drier, then go to your local A/C place and have the go through the procedure of testing for leaks etc. before regassing it. If they don't find anything, well and good. If they do at least the dye they use should make it easier to find the leak.
Valves seem to be the most common problem and are cheapish and easy to replace. Don't think Ive heard of an evaporator leaking on an Omega.

3 most likely areas for leaks....condensor, fill valves and the flexi pipe which runs down the Pass side chassis leg under the battery and abs unit...i have some stock of these pipes.

Serek in Huntington at SOS an expert on ac and highly recommended.

Never known an evaporator to fail, as others have said, first get it pressure tested with some nitrogen,if it holds the pressure, then system is good, the first place to check if it doesn't hold is the condenser, then the hp and LP valves, and the compressor,. If it is the evaporator, that's a dash board out job.

Best option if your not confident, is book it in with serek at SOS automotive here in hoof'land. :y
