Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Self leveling head lamps
« on: 27 February 2014, 11:08:14 »
Hi,
Is it any chance to install self leveling system to my Omega??
I've change the lamps and switch. I know that there is a small control unit under the right front wheel arch.
I got the loom and unit but is it worth to do it?

Cheers
Kris

Omega General Help / Re: Temperature gauge
« on: 27 August 2013, 16:44:31 »
When i arrived in Poland i've changed water pump, thermostat including sensor (aftermarket) and radiator fan 4 pin sensor.
She is still getting hot. I've flushed radiator and put new anti freeze coolant.
Could it be temperature gauge?
I also place external temperature sensor in overflow tank and in it was 90C
I'm lost lol

Omega General Help / Re: OPEL badges and front grill
« on: 17 June 2013, 11:23:17 »
u kidding??
Does anyone can help me to get a full set of Opel Omega C estate badges including front grill please.

If you change the badges from Vauxhall to Opel don't forget to tell your insurance company as it will be classed as a modification.

Insurance companies have refused to pay out on lesser things.  :o :o :o
I suppose they would argue it makes the car more attractive to theives, like special wheels or a spoiler.   It's difficult to see how they could blame a badge for an accident though.

They will find the right argument.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / CDC40 OPERA stereo system
« on: 12 June 2013, 13:53:58 »
Hi,
Has anyone tried to fix CDC40 OPERA stereo system in his OMEGA C ??
I wonder if the steering wheel controls are compatible withe this system.
I know for fact that the display and head unit need to be changed in the same time. Does the cable and sockets are the same?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
