Nice sunny day here , once upon a time we would have piled into the car and gone out for the day , usually up the coast or to Alnwick castle for the day , had some great days out when they were smaller , now when I suggest a day out all I get is "not bothered" and they spend the day stuck on a games console or in front of a TV

My 22 yr old son is being chased for some supposed debt he picked up at university a few years ago , he's had a few letters sent , but to the wrong address , our "helpful" postie has recognised our surname and has kindly re-directed these letters to our house . Am I right in thinking all the paperwork has to be exactly right with this sort of thing ? to make it worse we think that the solicitors have sent snide paperwork pretending to be a CCJ , is there any way I can check with the courts if it's good paperwork ? I've been one site but they want £10 too check it out .

Has anyone here been involved with probate on a will ? . My step father passed away recently and his bank has said because of the sums of money involved my mother has to go through probate to settle the estate , at 86 she really isn't up for this and as a step son I'm not allowed to do it , the bank suggested a solicitor but my Mother thinks they are lower than a snakes belly and is loathed to use them . Is this a DIY thing or is a solicitor the best route ?

Here we are , another sh**e Saturday night on Virgin media broadband , just done a speed test and I'm getting 1.15 mbps download speed from their supposedly 30 mbps service !
