30 years ago, how very typical  ;D Totally different vehicle, totally different concept. £48,000 in 1990 would easily be £100,000 now, you wouldn't get that for a Carlton.

Yes, I think Opti knows that, and I certainly do ::) ::)

What he is saying I think, and I certainly endorse, that a Lotus Carlton had more character, and was loved more, that these modern vehicles, full of plastic, No matter what the  price comparisons are. :D :D ;)

STMO would have been chomping at the bit for a Lotus Carlton in 1990 if Vauxhall had made it with an agricultural 2 litre derv lump. :)
