That's all far too fancy to either help or raise money.


The real problem is lightly loaded commercial vehicles, and cars with only one occupant - which are the same thing.


The technology to combine weighing the vehicle, and comparing it's weight with unladen, with ANPR could happen tomorrow.

Forty years ago, we hired a car and ragged it around Southern Spain and parked easily for free at the major attractions. You couldnt do that now. There is a stretch of road well signed with speed cameras that generates over 600 tickets each way a day.
