alternator help
« on: 27 February 2010, 23:47:19 »

Small problem started yesterday miggy a wee bit dodgy when starting and tonight when it was dark noticed that the battery light was flickering when I was driving. I had this problem once before on another older car and am I right in thinking it was a fault with the diodes on the alternator. If so has anyone got any idea what alternator is in my miggy apparently there is 3 with different voltages. its a 2003 2.2 cd auto.

2 types, 100amp & 120amp. regulator possibly on the way out. Easy enough to change. Whip the alternator off and check about 10 minute job http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1153772945
