Fitted new Abs sensor to osr wheel, reset the codes, and drove to work...

Didn't get to the end of the road before all three lights pinged on >:(

Two codes... 95 on the gearbox ecu and 05 on the Abs one...

Next step is looking like the ecu :-\
What you drive now days?

Does NickW still do recovery of misfueled vehicles?

Petrol vehicles seem to run on whatever you put in them, but I wouldn't put Asda diesel in the wife's captur, never mind a jaaaaaag.

Why? Comes from the same refinery ;)

Ok, there are some subtle differences in the additives they add but I wouldn't worry too much. In fact I'd probably spend the money saved over a few thankfully on a decent lubricating additive as the lubrication is what has taken the biggest hit over the years.

When Tesco's diesel around work is 113p and the BP is 118p, guess which diesel I put in  :D

If mine cracks 25mpg it will be running on V Power :D

If it fails to manage 16mpg, then it will be fed left over vapour from the gas main :P

It's more important to buy from a petrol station that has a high turnover of stock than worry about the brand.

Sage words indeed. I've been delighted on several locations to find a village forecourt in the back end of nowhere in the middle of Wales / the highlands / Ireland that sells super unleaded - only to fill up and find the Westfield pinks worse than on 95 RON. I suspect I would have been better off just buying the 95, as that gets some turnover, at least.

It might all start out the same, but, leave it in the tanks for a few months... ::)

Put the box back in limp mode... >:(

Suspect the oil leak from sump has finally reached the plugs, so have acquired a steam cleaner to deal with it, then if I can reach the plugs will give them a scrub too followed by a dollop of WD40  :D

 ;D Gearbox electrickery plumbing...

Top of the engine is drier than the moon :y first job on buying the car was to replace the camcover and oil filter housing gaskets... And because the whole thing was designed by engineers rather than bean counters in Detroit, the plug wells have their own seals 8)
