Wheel colour change on my MV6
« on: 15 August 2010, 10:08:18 »

Got fed up with a slow air leak on two of the wheels between the tyre and rim, so thought I would get the tyres removed and get the rims cleaned up etc. Then thought while the tyres are off I try a change of colour.

As Standard with the leaky rims.

Now Anthracite powdercoat, which are supposed to be easier to keep clean

Nice! :y

I had a few Monza's over the years (hence the username ;D) and they all had Anthracite wheels(although these wheels are Anthracite Grey and the Monza's were just Anthracite, which is a deeper colour with a brownish tint)
But i still love the darker colour wheels  :y

Yeah...I also looked at Black Chrome or Smoked Chrome, but they didn't seem to work quite as well imho

Not a fan of painted alloys I'm afraid.
Got to be as intended, silver laquered.

Nice estate though :y

I like it, makes it look abit tougher.

Maybe lowering it a tad, say 20 or 30mm might work too?  :y
