Thank you for your comments :)
Those that are thinking of getting one, don't think "DO IT"
Next to the Omega, one of the best cars i have driven/owned.
I can honestly say that my savings have taken a kicking with the purchase, but as i said to a guy on the day i picked her up "I'd rather have this than the cash". She puts the biggest smile on my face every time i drive her :) :) :) :)

I shall post some more pics up when i get chance, if that's ok with the Admins (if not please PM me).

Awesome car! I don't understand why Opel never made this model as left hand drive.

As Andy says it was a Holden creation, though they did make a left hooker for the US market & was badged as the GTO :y

DROOL!!!! Looking forward to LOTS more pics. I think the admin team are cool with Monaros/VXR8's.

Monaro one day soon for me as i love the 2door shape. 5.7 will suffice as long as it's manual. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Just one bit of advice "DO IT" ;D
There's a double price premium between the 5.7 & the 6.0 Monaro, I don't know how the 5.7 drives in comparison, but if you can find the extra funds have a 6.0 VXR just for the looks alone. I have no regrets at all with her :y :y

Ultimatly, I would like a white VXR 8.but a yellow or red Monaro 5.7 would do fine although the partner is not to keen on the yellow!
