blowing a fuse !!!!!

the 15 amp fuse for the instruments/radio/elec windows /sports button /leccy roof keeps blowing when the cooling fan comes on anyone any idea why ??it only happens when sat in traffic and the fan operates

Faulty / stiff fan motor?  try disconnecting the motor, then linking out the connections on the rad temp sensor to see if the fuse still blows.  This will prove if it is the fan or something else i.e. wiring

the was staying on a couple of months ago and i took the relay out and re-inserted it and that fixed that problem but i'm thinking maybe the re-lay is u/s but vx main stealer wants 25 quid for a new one !!!!

I'd need to check, but I thought the cooling fan fuse was 30A

its not the cooling fan fuse that blows its the dashboard one

Opps, sorry, my mistake.

Has the fan assembly got wet (stuttle drain!!)
