After being used to the space of a mig, i would go with the Volvo, even though I do try to stick with GM as my first choice for transport.

Those early Carltons were such an ugly mother of a car. The lower front corners were plastic. I can remember back when i was an apprentice, the Vauxhall dealer I worked for could not get hold of a Ruby reb estate with a sunroof. we ended up cutting the roof off a new car and fitting a new roof panel with sunroof hole to keep the customer. Vauxhall did help by supplying all parts needed for the conversion.

We got woken at 4am on the ABS field and told to leave every thing including the cars there. yea, right. it was at 6am that the message come around that it was all cancelled and to start making our way out. I Left at 11am when we had got everything off safely. Then got told to turn around on the A45 as it was shut due to flooding. Got out the back way, to the A428. At the black cat round about on the A1, a range rover came round from south and burst into flames in front of us. 45 minutes later the fire brigade turned up to extinguish the little that was left. Then back in Witham Essex, the police stopped us due to the annual carnival prossesion. what a day. see you all there next year!!!  Keith B

My estate went into the paint shop yesterday for its long awaited new paint job. Got funny looks from other road users as I drove it there with no trim, door handles or bumpers on it. Should get it back some time in August as I am not paying the full price so thats why it went in ready stripped. I have posted some pics on the ABS site as I,m no yet up to speed on using the photo bucket link.

Thats me all sorted out with the kit I need for Billing. Just got to pick up my mates camper on thursday night and load up. Driving it to work friday morning and going up from there. Will be a slow journey as it is apparently like being in a 1920 Sopwith camel if taken over 50mph. See all you peeps there.
