cant set year and date

cant set the date and year anymore on dash same as temp but time always good tried resetting dozen of times but it goes to 2001 car was made 2002 havnt got a clue with it.some car sparks had a go but he said the ncd 2013 doesn't belong to the car I said it worked perfectly for 14 years ive had it then went haywire when alternator was changed.

Read that about 10 times, still not clear what you are asking.  A bit of punctuation goes a Long way ;)

So you have an NCDC that is not correctly setting time? Is this manually or automatically?  If automatic, ensure radio us tuned to BBC R2 for about 2 or 3 hrs, as the BBC national stations have the best time signals.

And make sure Time Correction is ticked under Tuner > Functions.
