2000 'V' facelift 3.0 Elite manual saloon
« on: 05 December 2010, 20:23:38 »

'V774 JCR' is a Vauxhall Omega 3.0 Elite manual saloon presented in black (z298). It was first registered on the 12th of January 2000. It has covered 124,000 miles from new.
MOT- April 26th 2011
Tax - April 2011
This is a factory Elite but now has police spec cloth interior, boot has no spoiler and it has 16'' CD wheels, with very good tyres 8mm and 9mm to the rear.
No radio - Originally had a CCR 2006 fitted
Originally shadow grey leather interior, but now has cloth seats in charcoal and other bits and pieces. It will also have police spec sunvisors and no centre armrest.

Known defects;
ABS ECU failed.
Small scuffs around the body, but very minor.
Cam cover gaskets leaking. Not enough to currently cause a missfire, but will need rectifying.

Good points;
Gearbox and clutch very good
Rear blind works and auto dim mirror
Sunroof
Climate control works well.

Will upload pictures tomorrow.

It's effectively an Elite but now has a police spec interior for the most part.

Any test drive or inspection is welcome. Not available until this coming Thursday (9th)

£500 (Taxen in p/x so will consider offers)

 ;D Andy, thank you. I do however think it's a fair price considering the dead ABS ECU and the fact the interior will be about 80% police spec. I had contemplated asking for more, but I wanted to try and offer OOF the best price.
Having seen your PFL at Newent I would expect it to attract a good price. PFL's are inherently cheaper, but I have seen good examples start to reach stronger money at auction than a few months ago. A good PFL is starting to get more expensive and harder to find.

Does it have an LSD and does that raise the price at all?   ::) :-X

If one of us had the space, we'd spend a couple of days stripping that and selling the bits!

Already got a lovely pfl MV6 manual but that sound a very fair price to run or break.
     I reckon it will "wipe it's face"... worth a "monkey" all day!!!

Assuming all of this sells and also assuming Josh is prepared to have bits & pieces lying around waiting for buyers

Indeed.

I'm guessing, seeing as he is a car trader, and this is a part-ex, his primary concern is just getting it out of the way quickly, and getting what it owes him, rather than having it sat around waiting for a sale just before christmas.

I would certainly have it if I had the space to break it....  ....hmm, I wonder if tunnie's garage is empty ::) ;D

I haven't had time to take photo's yet...apologies to those who have asked for them.
I've got to go to Stafford tomorrow, but should be back in time to take some photo's before it's dark and get them uploaded asap.

Sorry for the delay in uploading photo's
Update - The RFL was taken back by the previous owner, so it now has no tax.
I have the full V5C here with me
Boot lid came from a V6 Special and is in Z20R and O/S mirror has cracked glass but still works, this also came from a V6 Special and is in Z20R. The rest of the vehicle is Z298.
It has a shadow grey interior, but with charcoal texas cloth seats from a V6 Special. The front door cards are black, again from a V6 Special.
