This one is midnight blue with tan leather, I'm going to keep the colour the same but although the seats look in good nick I know of someone local who can refurb them completely, I'm going to keep them the same colour but will have the leather in the "diamond quilted" pattern that can be seen on most Bentleys.
Keep them original, Mick.

^This!^  :y

How original though?

Say, for example, you replace points and coil on a sixties classic for electronic ignition. Or modern tyres and brakes.

What Rangie describes sounds like an 'acceptable update' to me.

Speaking of hot cross buns at Easter......if you like your buns nicely browned here is some you might like taking a bite of. :)

Blimey I got a semi watching that! >:D

That is quite impressive for a man your age. ;)

May Volvo rip as they've gone full Milk-float.

.......that will never go faster than 112 MPH. :-X

The nanny state is alive and well.

Do we still celebrate Easter......I know some people find it offensive.

Iceland are selling hot tick buns instead of hot cross buns so as not to offend. :)

Or shaking hands when you get out ;D ;D

Now now, we don't want poor old Rog to have heart attack or anything! ;D

Absolutely not. A nice sedate Morris Minor Woody should fit the bill. Picnic rug and a thermos flask and some bread to feed the ducks. :)

Ha ha🤣 I rolled an Anglia 1200 delux when I was 17 ;D

I rolled a 600cc Regal saloon.....and a 700cc Regal Supervan. :)

Fools and Horses van was a Regal although for some reason people think it's a Robin. ???

I rolled two plastic pigs in my youth......and yes my hands were shaking as we tried to get it back on it's wheels (3) ;D

Mk2 is better looking than the MK1 in my opinion. :y

Sounds like a good buy. :y

Is it the 2.8V6.....or the 3 litre 'Essex V6'

X reg is 1980/81 I think.

You never get stuck behind me
No, because you only have 150 horses ;D
150 horses is enough to lose your license fairly quickly if you try hard enough.

Family cars of the sixties made do with 40-50 BHP from their wheezy pushrod OHV lumps.

I'm thinking Ford Anglia, Austin 1100, Mk1 Cortina 1200.

That's a similar price to high speed fibre I think?  If you have fibre that is...  ::)
My 500Mb synchronous has just gone up...   ...to £22 ;D

Admittedly that is a special deal, but my previous 900Mb synchronous was only £50 on a rolling month basis
.

Decent fibre from altnets is significantly cheaper than services like ADSL when that first came out.  But not many have access to altnets, although more small villages have a better chance :y

No need to rub it in, you bastard. :D ;)

I hear that Starlink is around 200 down and 13 up. No idea if that is good, bad, or somewhere in between. All I know is that our current speed is shit slow. :-\

I've seen them advertise deals with refurbished kit, so keep your eye out.  :y

It looks like the cost is currently £225 ( £450 before) for the dish, and then £85 a month. Not cheap.

Elon is worth £280 billion so he could afford to make it less expensive.

What sort of speeds do you get for that?  ???

High speed fibre is well cheaper than £85. But, if you live on a rambling country estate, Openreach aren't about to use a whole drum of cable to get to you.

Yep....they always pick on the most innocent. :-X ::)

Our internet connection has always been poor.

It is presently run through a Huawei router.

Anyway, the name Starlink has come up as an alternative.

Anyone with experience of Starlink?....I know it's not cheap but if it works I don't mind.
