omega estate rear spoiler

hi can anybody tell me if the rear spoiler on the estate is the same for all years or is it different on the facelift  ;)

Its different on the facelift. The prefacelift has an intergrated brake light. Mini facelifts do not have an intergrated brake light and should fit the facelift.

is that the only difference as the spoiler i have seen needs to be painted to match my car , could easily hide the brake light, are all the tailgates the same ?

Prefacelift Irmscher fits a facelift as that's what's on Mrs VXL V6's car.  :y

there are two numbers for irmscher rear spoilers one with one without a integrated light that's the difference pre post aint a factor

Here are the Irmscher part numbers:

With integrated brake light: i 4001 404
Without brake light: i 4001 405

I've fitted several, and find it much less hassle to bond 'em on to the tailgate using Sikaflex 255 :y

Tailgates are the same the spoilers differ but are interchangeable between pre and post facelift ( and vica versa )
I have a PFL spoiler fitted to my FL .

Have you got both brake lights wired in, I always thought they would look quite good with 2 high level brake lights :)

Have you got both brake lights wired in, I always thought they would look quite good with 2 high level brake lights :)
