When the car has been switched off there is still a vacuum present which has enough power to keep the pressure in the system albeit for a short while.

I dont have climate control but when mine is off and I turn the direction dial, you can hear the flaps hissing then the vacuum dissapears.

Have you checked the rubber couplers on the vac lines?
any signs of cracking will contribute to vacuum loss

I have a line that has nearly worn through where it has been rubbing on the coolant bridge.

Or the diaphram in you hbv is nearing its usefulness and needs replacing

What make is it?

If you pull up the fuel rail straight up, you wont damage the seals.
I pulled apart my v855 and had to replace the injector seats because the P/O never put them back.

Got some new rims from Nigel (omega52)

They need a refubish but are perfect for now, had the boots off the deepdish (I dont think I even put 100miles on them)

It has now stopped pulling to the right and sticks to the road

Need to colour code the mirror covers and possibly look for a foglight bumper

Ours made a tapping sound when revved, sort of like a cracked manifold

I remember looking down into the inlet manifold, it was caked in oil an sludge, the dual tract flaps wernt working properly

Im sure the bottom end was on its way out

I have heard pinking from loose plugs but only just, was on my 5cyl v70 its is a strange sound.

I had a dreaded xe1 in a v reg zafira, it was garbage

When I had my mk4 astra done, the young lad even vacuumed both footwells for me.

That will learn me to drive in the sun and behind a driver with bad eyesight

Checked the pipercross panel, I forgot I put it in lol.
After a year it has started sagging so its going in the bin, when I can be bothered to order the paper element and a new cabin filter.

Also fitted the new 17" 6 spoke sport alloys, they look nice but still strange on a p/fl

where cheap rubber would dissolve when it touches oils corrosive gas
