Go through insurance? Normally only around £75 excess for a new screen fitted.  :)

Around £150 if you don't have screen cover...

Considering the hassle in removing a bonded in screen, cleaning it up, and then refitting it can't be worth buying a used screen. One of the things that surprised me when I had a new one fitted a month ago was just how clear the new one is compared to the original

A specialist of National Windscreens only explained the other day how difficult it is to replace a windscreen on an Omega.

Thank God I was just having a couple of small chips dealt with :y

It took them 4 separate visits to fix mine properly seeing as the trim flew off down the dual carridgeway and was ran over by a lorry  ;D ;D
